More information

CRS Risk© is a software-based health and safety risk assessment toolkit for use by all organisations - large or small. It uses the HSE-recognised risk assessment approach “Five Steps to Risk Assessment”, and an IOSH-recognised risk-ranking methodology.

CRS Risk© facilitates and simplifies the legal requirements for risk assessments and record keeping, and enables you to prioritise your plans for controlling risks. It retains all of your risk assessment records in one easy-to-access location, and allows production of a series of very focussed management reports, which can be printed or e-mailed at the touch of a button.

CRS Risk© has been designed and developed by health and safety specialists, who understand your requirements. You do not have to be a computer-expert to use it; its intuitive style is like none of its competitors. It is written for ease of use.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Pentium class processor at 233 Mhz or above
  • 64 Mb RAM
  • CD-ROM drive (or DVD drive with CD support)
  • Windows 9x, NT, 2000, or XP
  • 800 x 600 display with 256 colours (higher recommended)
  • 20 Mb disk space (45 Mb during installation)
  • Printer (for full functionality)
  • E-mail connection (for full functionality)

Corporate Profile

The software enables you to organise and manage your risk assessments in a way that suits you!

CRS Risk© is centred around your Corporate Profile – Departments, Operations and Tasks – to which you systematically add the Hazards (remember ‘DOT-H’). This clearly identifies and establishes line ownership, allowing management to focus on their responsibility for safe, low risk operations - all at a glance on one main screen.

Simple ‘drag and drop’ functionality within the application enables structure and maintenance of the data is quick and easy. Hazards copy from department to department to save your time.

Associated documents can be attached to the Company, department or hazards. These could be safe systems of work, building plans, COSHH data sheets or even photographs.

All done using the well-known HSE “Five Steps to Risk Assessment” approach, as recognised by enforcing authorities.

Risk Ranking

CRS Risk© uses a straightforward risk ranking methodology suggested by IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) in its “Managing Safely” training courses.

You independently select likelihood and severity from easy drop down boxes. The risk quotient is automatically calculated for you highlighting priorities for future control and management attention.

Action Plans and Reviews

Action plans and reviews can be added to assessments ensuring that risks are managed and reduced. Individual employees can be delegated tasks in order to track progress against business objectives.

Reports

Very focussed reports can be created using user-selective criteria. This can be based on highest risk quotient, employee, department, action plans or reviews.

These reports can then be printed or e-mailed at the touch of a button. This is ideal when submitting your risk assessments to Head Office, staff on site, insurers or HSE saving you time and money whilst demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.

Security

CRS Risk© has robust security features keeping your data secure, enabling additional users to be set up with their own unique passwords. With the purchase of additional licences the software can be networked over several sites or locations.

The price for a single software licence is priced at £249.00 + VAT ($450 or €375). Discounts are applicable for multiple licence purchases (more than 4).
